Okay, I realize my picture is stranger than the event, but your last response got me thinking about japan. There was a park populated by affectionate but feral cats in Kyoto. There was an old man who would sit and stroke some of them. There were cats in the bushes, the flower beds, the trees. They were everywhere and they all looked up at you and said "miow".

this one reminds me of my next door neighbour,he has lots of cats and dogs,he doesn't have any friends but he is happy with his animals.i think he would love to have such a painting in his house.
