In your face!

Or should I say... My face! Here's a funny squiggle for you based on a picture of my face. Whacha gonna do eh?

squiggleface

And I thought I'd continue in the mythical vein I've been doing for the past few squiggles. This one is like a sacrificial virgin and the Jabberwocky "wiffling through the tulgy woods" before it was slain.

Kind of Klimt inspired. Okay, I did spend ages on this... I should put time limits on myself. But I had fun doing it.

As Promised...

No Christmas trees.

My response was Medusa, I've been reading a lot about Greek myths lately. I didn't know that she gave birth to Pegasus (and some marginal king), from the blood drops of her severed head. In fact she was only turned into a horrible monster by Athena after getting it on with Poseidon (Pegasus's dad) in a church of Athena worship. Serves them right I suppose,I mean that's pretty inappropriate. But really, how was she supposed to say no to a titan? But of course he wasn't punished...

This squiggle was submitted to us by a Suzanne, way back when we had our exhibition. She only had one comment which was - no Christmas trees. I say we both respond to this one!

Okay, I realize my picture is stranger than the event, but your last response got me thinking about japan. There was a park populated by affectionate but feral cats in Kyoto. There was an old man who would sit and stroke some of them. There were cats in the bushes, the flower beds, the trees. They were everywhere and they all looked up at you and said "miow".
